ABOUT NUTRITIONIST LAURA DISCEPOLA

Laura has applied her lifelong passion for health and wellness to successful careers in nutrition consulting, culinary management, and fitness education, in Toronto and Montreal. She believes a healthy, balanced lifestyle is the most important thing you can do for yourself – it’s the basis for improving quality of life and should be enjoyable!

Food, Cooking, Health and Nutrition

In 2012, Laura decided to combine her greatest passions—food, cooking, health and nutrition—to develop the fresh cooking style of Fit To Eat that she’s known for today. Fueled by her passions, Laura thrives on creating new recipes to delight the senses and nourish the body, mind and soul. As an experienced chef and specialist in weight management, Laura has helped individuals and groups meet—and exceed—their health goals by improving their everyday eating habits.

Fitness is an integral part of Laura’s life. The challenge of her first (natural figure) Fitness Competition in 2010 brought her even more insight into the intricacies of nutritional planning for athletes, which she applies in her meal planning programs today.

Nutrition for Professionals

Laura is an Honors graduate of the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto, and she is licensed as a Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioners (ROHPs) and Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner (RNCP).

Laura is certified by the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC), founded in 1983 to increase public awareness about making the best possible scientific-based food choices for long-term health, and to regulate the standards of education for nutrition professionals.
